​Dr Nicky Shah (Owner of Aashayein CDC) is a Pediatric OT and consultant with over 5 years of experience in treating children with neurological and developmental disorders. Dr Shah is a graduate in Occupational therapy from D.Y.Patil University - Mumbai. She has completed her post graduation in Pediatrics from Jaipur. She is certified in Sensory Integration from University of Southern California. She is also certified Emotional Intelligence coach. ​​Her sensory based knowledge helps children with sensory processing difficulties by using play-based activities to improve their ability to process and integrate sensory information, leading to better adaptive responses and overall functioning​. She is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with disabilities. Her philosophy revolves around creating a supportive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Through holistic approach, she aims to address the individual challenges and strengths of each child, fostering their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
